What to Expect
A customized blend of vitamins and minerals is mixed and delivered directly into the bloodstream. Because it bypasses the digestive system, it can offer higher absorption than oral supplements. Dr. Kiesman will review your history, ensure it is a safe procedure for you, and customize your drip before treatment begins.
Details
Most IV treatments take 30–75 minutes, depending on the type of infusion and the vitamins included. IM injections are approximately 15 minutes.
Most patients can return to normal activities right away unless otherwise discussed at your visit.
Your IV can be tailored to your goals, with wellness-focused blends and add-ons used where appropriate based on your assessment.
Before treatment, your health history, goals, and vital signs are reviewed to make sure the infusion is safe and appropriate for you.
Most people feel only a small pinch when the IV is inserted, then relax comfortably while the infusion runs. You are monitored throughout.
It is recommended to eat a light meal and drinking water before your appointment to help you feel more comfortable during the infusion.
